Cuesta Park is a 32 acre park. This large park was built on what was
previously an orchard in the late 1960s. It offers residents many
activities, including playgrounds, lighted tennis courts, a tennis center,
horse shoe area, outdoor volleyball courts, bocci bal courts, BBQ areas,
and picnic grounds. The park is unique and has picturesque rolling hills
and small valleys along with large mature trees. Pathways wind around the
park and go up and down its hillocks, making this one a fun place,
especially for kids, to ride a bike or skate. Adjacent to the park is the
Cuesta Park Annex, an orchard that was abandoned, and which has now been
reclaimed by nature. Popular with birdwatchers and dog walkers, this area
is admired for its rural beauty.
