3 Custom Homes

We built 3 custom homes on Magdalena Avenue in 1963. The address are 11560, 11580, & 11596. We built a bridge across the creek at 11560 Magdalena. At this time period, Los Altos Hills was not the desirable community that it is today. We did not think we could sell very expensive in Los Altos Hills at this time. We wanted to keep our house costs down. So we decided not to build new houses, but moved 3 houses from San Jose onto these lots. We remodeled the house at 11560. We purchased these lots from Mr. Dawson who at that time lived on Dawson Drive. He was a retired VP from General Motors.
